Obituary

Adele Elise Aletti, successful business owner and longtime resident of New Symrna Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, May 14, 2023.  She was born in Philadelphia, Pa on June 29 th , 1950, and was 72 years old at the time of her passing.

Adele established and operated GONE BONKERS woman's boutique on Flagler Avenue in 1988.  She was a driving force and a tireless advocate of Flagler Avenue development. She co-founded and was president of the Merchants of Flagler Avenue, initiating the commemorative Brick Program, Seaside Fiesta, and Light-UP Flagler, as well as Taste of NSB.

She served as the first woman president of the Kiwanis Club and president of the Chamber of Commerce.

In her retirement she was an active volunteer at The Hub on Canal Street in New Symrna Beach and was fondly known as the "Queen of Organization" by her fellow volunteers.

Ms. Aletti grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Fl and is survived by her brother Vince Aletti of New York City, her sister Ann Aletti Russo (Barry), her two nieces Cara Lunney (Mike) of Atlanta, GA , and Aimee Dulebohn (James) of Royston Ga. and her grand nieces and nephews  Paxton Lunney, and Mira, Westley, and Layden Dulebohn.

The family, in lieu of flowers would welcome donations to Halifax Hospice of Port Orange and the Hub on Canal Street.
