Aimee Lynn Scharr, 44, of Longwood passed away on Friday January 1, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  Aimee was born on October 10 ^th , 1976 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Douglas and Chris Sangster. She grew up in Winter Park and attended Winter Park high school where she graduated in 1995. Later, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 2000 where she then started her successful career in the waste and recycling industry. In 2005 she married David Scharr and they went on to have two children Avery and Brayden, who were the light of her life. Aimee was an avid tennis player on multiple leagues and enjoyed staying active. She was always the life of the party and had never met a stranger. Aimee loved boating, socializing with friends, planning get togethers, spending time with family, lobstering in the keys and scalloping in Crystal River. Aimee is survived by her loving Husband David Orwin Scharr; Daughter Avery Scharr; Son Brayden Scharr; Father Douglas Stuart Sangster; Mother Chris Anne Sangster née Armantrout; Brother Daniel Sangster; Niece Cloey Sangster and many extended family and friends. There are no words to adequately describe Aimee's larger than life personality or how much her family and immense social circle will miss her.
