Alan B. Best (72) of Debary, Florida, passed away at home surrounded his wife, son, and daughter on January 15th, 2024. Alan was born on May 11, 1951, in Seabrooke, Maryland to Otis and Della Best.

After graduating from Duval High School, he attended Prince Georges College in Maryland. He worked at UPS and then in the electrical field specializing in high voltage substations before he retired.

Alan is survived by his wife, Yvette, son Sean of Jacksonville, daughter Shannon of Debary, three grandchildren (Arayna, Ember, and Holden), his brother Michael Best, and sister Andrea Frappier.

Services for Alan will be private, and his final resting place will be in North Carolina.
