Alan Crawford, 72, of Greensboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully at E.W. & Lucille Cates Hospice House in Marion County Florida July 5, 2023.

He was born in Seattle, Washington on Feb 12, 1951 to Alfred Floyd Crawford and Barbara Crawford. He was an airline captain for America West Airlines for the majority of his career before retiring from US Airways. His favorite place to have a layover was Alaska.

He had a love for all things golf and enjoyed riding around on his golf cart at Lake Oconee with Carole, Divot, and Bunker. He was an avid gardner and loved to spend his weekends at the lake on the boat. Before he lost his precious Carole in February, they traveled near and far to various beaches to explore all of the natural beauty they had to offer. He was always his happiest with a drink in his hand, toes in the sand, and Carole by his side.

Alan Crawford is survived by his daughter Meghan Crawford, Machelle Arrison, son-in-law Nicholas Arrison, grandchildren Mackenzie Arrison, Brooke Arrison, Olivia Arrison, his sister Debbie Braun and his pup Divot. He is preceded in death by his father Floyd Crawford, mother Barbara Crawford, brother Brian Crawford, sister Marsha Crawford, his precious Carole Dodson, and their dog Bunker.
