"Butch" passed away on Monday morning, November 4th, 2024, at 10:50 AM, after battling various illnesses at his home in Leesburg, FL. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born in Berwick, PA, on August 9th, 1941, to Ada Whitenight and Albert D. Church Sr., Butch proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He was an active and proud member of the following organizations: VFW #8087 in Mt. Dora, Amvets Post #1992 and Moose Lodge #874 in Eustis

Butch worked as an electrician before retiring. He was also an accomplished upholsterer and operated a lawn care business for many years. Additionally, he worked at Walt Disney World in Kissimmee, FL, for several years as a cast member.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Ruth A. Church, to whom he was married for 35 wonderful years.

Butch will be greatly missed by all who knew him, including his family and friends.
