Obituary

Albert Paul Delmontagne, 85, of St Petersburg and Zellwood, FL, passed away peacefully under hospice care, surrounded by the love of his family. Born September 8, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA, Albert was the sun of Albert and Margaret Delmontagne. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth, dedication, and love for family defined his life.

Albert married his high school sweetheart, Margaret McMahon, and together they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage before her passing in 2017. There and during love and commitment created a strong foundation for their family and left a lasting legacy for future generations.

In 1978, Albert and Margaret relocated their family from Pittsburgh to Sunny Melbourne, FL, where they built a life filled with cherished memories. Professionally, Albert enjoyed a successful career as a sales representative, working for multiple companies throughout his career. He was known for his strong work ethic, friendly personality, and ability to connect with people wherever he went.

Albert is survived by his sons, Patrick (Kim) Delmontagne of St. Petersburg, FL; Timothy Delmontagne of Mexico Beach, Florida; and Brian (Jan) Delmontagne of Ohio. He was a proud grandfather to Joshua (Aimee) Delmontagne of Firestone, CO, and Shawn (Ali) Delmontagne of Canton, MI. He was also blessed with great grandchildren, Emma and Jack Delmontagne of Colorado, and Aubrey Delmontagne of Michigan.

Albert is further survived by his brother, Regis (Elena) Delmontagne of Vienna, VA; and his sister, MaryAnn (Dennis) Navish of Pittsburgh, PA. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Magnolia Gardens and Suncoast Hospice for the compassionate care, comfort, and support provided to Albert during the past year. 

Albert's kindness, devotion to family, and gentle spirit will be remembered always. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
