Alfred Kirsche, Jr.

Alfred Kirsche, Jr. 87, of Port Orange, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 2. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Nutley, NJ. Al graduated from Newark College of Engineering in 1955, was a member Of ROTC and entered the Air Force after graduation. After his military service he worked at General Electric in Syracuse and retired in 1990 as a marketing manager of military defense systems. Mr. Kirsche was a member of DeWitt Community Church, the Syracuse Elfun Society and a long time member at Radisson Greens Golf Course. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Jennie (Reim) Kirsche Sr. his wife Joyce (Wagi) Kirsche and brother Charles Kirsche. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Elster Kirsche, a son Mark Kirsche, a daughter Suzann (Howard) VanBuren, a sister Verna Claire Norton, step children Diane (Jerry) Mowry, David (Marlene) Elster and Richard Elster; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren .
