Alfred Lee Shawcross (Lee), age 85, passed away at his home in The Villages, Florida on May 7, 2022.  Lee was the husband of Charlotte Yates Shawcross for 65 years prior to her death in September, 2021.  Lee was born in Norfolk, Virginia to William Jr. and Jeannette Shawcross.

After graduating from Virginia Tech University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Lee worked for Eastman Kodak Co. and Bausch & Lomb in Rochester, NY.  Lee was very active at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Fruitland Park, FL.  Lee performed with numerous instrumental and vocal organizations.  He will be remembered as a consummate musician, entertainer, dog lover and friend.  Lee is survived by two adopted children, Jeannette and Russell and half-brother, Scott.

Lee's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, 11 AM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Fruitland Park, Florida.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church or the local Humane Society.
