Alice A. Butterfield (89), of Ormond Beach passed away from natural causes on May 15, 2022. She was born on March 11, 1933, in Queens, New York to the late Herman and Emily Ingebrand.

After high school she attended New York University and Washington School for Secretaries. She was an exhibiting artist for 15 years, enjoyed classical music, cooking, golf, tennis, and skiing in her younger years. Alice married David W. Butterfield in 1974 in Princeton, New Jersey until his passing in 2018. Alice attended Seabreeze United Church of Christ where she became a member and volunteer.

Alice was predeceased by her sister, Joyce Manian, granddaughter, Brigid Ashley and grandson, Sam Struthers and is survived by her 4 stepchildren, Scott Garvey (Valerie), Elizabeth Durfee (Steve), Lance Butterfield, and Brooke Amerson (Rob), along with 6 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. She also has two nieces, Roberta (Bobbi) Manian and Sue Manian and several cousins.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday June 11, 2022 @ 11:00am at Seabreeze United Church of Christ, 501 N. Wild Olive Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32118. In lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Alice, tell those you love that you love them, and do something nice for someone who needs a kindness.
