Alice McBride Matzinger 72, passed away on March 13, 2017 after her battle with cancer for 13 months.  She was born in Hoboken, NJ to Mable Folberg and adopted by Abram and Lucy McBride.  Alice was a hairdresser for over 50 years and also an accomplished horse person.  In 1994 they moved the business from Ft. Lauderdale to Ocala.  Her love for animals was extended and she began to care and raise Great Danes.  Alice loved spending time with her dogs, horses and building doll houses.  Alice encouraged her husband to run for county commissioner in 2016 to help maintain and protect the horse industry in Ocala.  She is survived by her loving husband Russell Matzinger of 23 years; step-daughter Samantha (Justin) M. Johnson; brothers, Everett (Sue) McBride, David, John and Dennis; sisters, Christine (Gaylon) Pedigo, Bubbles and Anna; grandchildren, Chase, Skyler and Austin and her extended family and best friend Martina Opp, Derick, Dedrea and Debbie.  A celebration of her life will be held at the farm on March 25, 2017 at 2 PM.  Online Condolences may be sent to www.baldwinbrothers.com .
