We are sad to announce Alice Ann Ringheimer Sargent, 84 of Apopka, FL passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at a memory care facility in Apopka after a long battle with dementia.
Born on March 20, 1939 in Wolsey South Dakota to Arthur and Ethelyn (Hatcher) Ringheimer.
She was one of 16 siblings.
Alice married Richard Sargent on December 1, 1957 in Rapid City, SD. She was a dedicated Air Force wife and they were stationed all over the United States and the Azores Islands, Portugal.
Alice enjoyed baking (especially famous for her chocolate chip cookies), doing puzzles, card games, traveling, but mostly spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, her son Robert (Bobby) and 13 brothers and sisters.
Those left behind to cherish the memories are two children. Steven and his wife Barbara of Apopka, Betty and her husband Ken Young of Braselton, GA; five grand children, Stephanie (Matt) Metzler, Brittany (Justin) Pike, Kristin (Brian) Rosevear, Neil (Heather) Sargent and Shannon (Loren) Purvis; twelve great-grandchildren, Isaac, Alaina and Esmae Metzler, Jordy, Blakeleigh and Jaxon Pike, Lyndon and McKinley Ann Rosevear, Brooke Alice and Summer Sargent, Charlie Kate and Eleanor Purvis; as well as three brothers Tommy, Richard, Jimmy and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the Trinity Baptist Church chapel in Apopka, Florida on Sunday; January 14, 2023 at 5:00 PM for gathering of family and a service at 5:30.
