Alisa Irmgard Schlosser, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on July 14, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York, Alisa was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and homemaker whose greatest joy came from caring for the people around her and bringing happiness into their lives.

Alisa attended All Saints High School in Brooklyn, New York. She worked as a Human Resources Personnel Specialist before dedicating herself to raising her family and creating a loving home. She took great pride in her family and in overcoming the adversity she had experienced earlier in life.

Alisa had a warm and caring spirit and had a special ability to make friends wherever she went. She enjoyed getting to know her neighbors and spending time with friends, including playing Bunco. She loved cruising, sewing for her loved ones, interior design, dancing with friends, and listening to music. She especially enjoyed making the holidays special and finding ways to create joyful memories for those she loved.

Those who knew Alisa will remember her most for her caring heart and generosity. She was always willing to talk to and help anyone who needed her. She loved giving gifts and, more importantly, loved making sure that others were able to experience and share in her joy.

Alisa is survived by her brothers, Charles Vogel and his wife, Shelley, of Ocala, Florida; Steven Dreher of Fort Myers, Florida; and Richard Dreher of Upstate New York; her daughter, Alicia Varner of Fort Myers, Florida; her son, Alex Schlosser of Boynton Beach, Florida; and her grandson, Taylor Varner of The Villages, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Paula Dreher; her mother, Irmgard Dreher; her father, Charles Dreher; and her longtime companion, Wayne Hogg.

A Catholic funeral service will be held at 1:30pm Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala, Florida.

Alisa's life was defined by love, generosity, friendship, and the happiness she brought to others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
