Allan Dewey Scott, 94, of Ocala, FL passed away August 23, 2018.  Born in Thomasville, GA, he came to this area in 1992 from Pickensville, AL.  Mr. Scott was a US Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII and fighter instructor pilot. Following discharge from the service, he was hired by Atlanta Belting Company as an industrial sales manager and later served as Senior Vice-President of Florida Belting Company in Orlando. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Rotary, the Oak Run Veterans Club, Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout and enjoyed golf, fishing and flying a private plane as long as he was able.  He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Laura Scott, his sons, Julian Scott (Jean) and Larry Scott both of Ocala; daughters, Cathy Parker of Knoxville, TN and Linda Schwan (deceased) of Decatur, AL; brother, Charles Russell Scott of Vero Beach, FL; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 11250 SW 93 ^rd Ct.
