Alphonso Colbert Sr., "Fonzo", 81, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Avante Nursing Home. He was born in Ocala in 1941 to Clay and Eva (Birch) Colbert. Alphonso is survived by his son Alphonso Colbert Jr. and wife Lisa of Minneapolis, MN, daughter Floritta Robinson and husband James of Ocala, FL, son Sam Colbert, Sr. of Ocala, FL, sister Clay Lee Stanley of Pompano Beach, FL, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Josie Lee Colbert in 2008.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Green Pastures Worship Center, 1818 NW Blitchton Rd. Ocala, FL 34475
