Alvin L. Smith, 84, of Anthony, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.  He was born in Anthony to William and Ruth Smith on July 4, 1937, and lived and raised his family all of his life in Anthony.  Alvin served in the US Navy and military honors will be performed at the graveside service.  Alvin retired from Department of Corrections, and was owner and operator of Al Smith Trucking.

He was predeceased by his wife Linda N. Smith, son Robert Wayne Smith, and sisters Betty West and Mary Strickland.

Survivors include his 3 sons Gregory Smith of Anthony, FL, Ronald Smith (Vicki) of Citra, Florida, and Jason Smith (Jennifer) of Springhill, FL.  Grandchildren Kaitlyn, Matthew, David, Kara, Joshua, Melissa, Nancy "Bunny", Evan, Ella, and Emelyn.  4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 11250 SW 93 ^rd Ct. Rd. Ocala, FL 34481. 352-236-7813.

Graveside service is 10:30am on Thursday, June 2 ^nd , at the Anthony Cemetery in Anthony, FL, 2705 NE 98 ^th St, 32617.
