Amy Ackerman, after a sudden and brief battle with cancer, sadly passed away on October 19th of 2022. Amy was born on December 20th, 1965 to Fred and Loxie Lund in Michigan where she was raised with her older brother Freddie (deceased) and her younger sister Marilou. She would later meet her husband, Les, and have two children together, Zachary and Elizabeth, before moving to Ocala, FL in 2005. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Amy left an impression on all who met her and will be missed by everyone. It was her wish that everyone remember the good times she had with them. To honor that wish, instead of funeral, there will be celebration of life for Amy at the Appleton on November 19th. All who knew her are welcome to attend and are encouraged to share their happy memories of Amy with others in attendance.
