In Loving Memory of Ana Gonzalez

Annie Gonzalez, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025. Born in Puerto Rico, Ana lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and a deep love for learning and family.

Ana dedicated much of her life to teaching French and Spanish, inspiring countless students throughout her career. Known to many as "Mademoiselle," she brought her classrooms to life with songs, plays, and creative lessons that made language learning joyful. She remained close to many of her early teaching colleagues from "La Escuelita" and Upward Bound, building friendships that lasted a lifetime.

Outside the classroom, Ana found joy in her garden, always tending to her plants and flowers with care. She loved playing Scrabble, working on puzzles, and doing word searches, often with Kargie nearby. A lifelong dream was fulfilled when she traveled to Paris with her husband, Jorge, creating memories that brought her great happiness.

Ana's beautiful smile and warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 43 years, Jorge; her children, Jorge Miguel and Karola; and her siblings Elsa, Héctor, Pancho, Josean, Iris, and Evelyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Maria, and her sister, Cuqui.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel in St. Cloud, Florida, on June 27, 2025 at 11 am, followed by a celebration of life luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites donations in Ana's memory to either St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
