Andrew William Lynn III, 77, of Yankeetown, FL, passed away on January 3, 2024. Andrew was born on November 14, 1946, in Naples, FL to his parents, Andrew Lynn II and Millie (Wright) Lynn. After graduating high school, he entered the US Navy and served as a Submariner on the USS Clamagore, USS Sea Devil, and the USS George Washington Carver. He was Dive Qualified by the US Navy and was proud to serve his Country. Andrew was a Test Boat Driver with Mercury Motors, and after the he went on to retire from the Florida State Department of Corrections. He loved to go fishing, tell fishing stories, and take his grandkids out fishing. Andrew was involved in his community and was a member of AMVETS and a member of the Moose Lodge in Dunnellon.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Trudy Lynn of Yankeetown, FL; sister, Marjorie L. Pendleton of Yankeetown, FL; sons, Robbie Lynn of Amarillo, TX, Guy Christopher Uda (Pae) of San Antonio, TX, Darren Dyer of Naples, FL, Brad Bishop (Becky) of Hendersonville, NC; daughters, Angie Jordan (Nick) of Amarillo, TX, Amy Lynn Hawk (Jason) of East Brady, PA, Katie Lynn of Dunnellon, FL, Madeline Mastromarino (Ryan) of Kittery, ME, Anne Lynn; sisters-in-law, Peggy Collins of Sevierville, TN, Shirley Lynn of Port Charlotte, FL; brother-in-law, Joe Schirmer of Chugwater, WY; 27 grandkids, 4 great grandkids, numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Florida National Cemetery on January 19, 2024 at 1:30PM. Andrew will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
