Angel Ivan Adelberto Perez, 48, of Port Orange, Florida, formerly of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed from this life on June 6, 2022.

Angel was born in Long Branch, New Jersey to Angel Perez and Amarilis Schembri on November 25, 1973.  He was raised in Keansburg, New Jersey where he would ultimately meet the love of his life, his wife, Valerie Perez, who he married on September 19, 1998. Together Angel and Valerie have two children, Skylar and Damian who mean the world to Angel.

There are two things in Angel's life that meant absolutely everything to him, Fishing and his family, especially his children.

Left to cherish Angel's memory is his beloved wife, Valerie Perez, his loving children, Skylar Perez and Damian Perez, his mother Amarilis Schembri, his brothers; Juan Schembri (Jenny), Jorge Perez, and Carlos Martinez, his sister Maria Martinez, his mother-in-law Deborah Smith, his sister-in-law Stacey Goodwin, his brother-in-law Kristofer Smith, his cousins; Hiram Echevarria, Juan Sanchez, Antonio Gonzalez, his dear friend Joseph Kenny and many nieces and nephews.

Those who have preceded Angel in death include his grandparents; Juan and Aledia Schambri, his cousin Ivan Echevarria and father-in-law Alfred Smith.

Angel will be missed by all those who knew and loved him and his beloved wife will always remember that, "All of my life I prayed for someone like you, and I thank God that I found you."
