Angela Dianne Smith, born in Orlando, Florida, on August 11, 1956, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024, at 1:06 a.m. She was a loving, caring, and generous woman who touched the lives of everyone around her. Angela always listened, provided support, offered advice, and encouraged those she cared for.

Angela found joy in spending time with family and friends, especially in nature. She loved visiting the mountains, the beach, and other scenic places. Never afraid of adventure, Angela enjoyed life fully and could often be found requesting her favorite songs, eager to sing and dance. Her love of music, especially "oldies," was infectious, and distance never mattered when it came to celebrating with those she cherished.

She was known for her selflessness, often providing for others, whether it was feeding stray dogs and cats, taking care of neighbors' pets, or organizing holiday celebrations for children living at a local Children's Home. Angela took great pleasure in tending to the Sandhill Cranes by the pond near her job and eagerly anticipated the arrival of their eggs each year.

Though she will be missed dearly, those who loved her take comfort in knowing that she is now in Heaven dancing, singing, and enjoying the things she was no longer able to do here.

Angela is survived by her sisters, Peggy Campbell (GA), Susan Mobley (David) (GA), and Kathryn Ladd (George) (FL).

She was loved by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lamar A. Smith and Martha A. Smith.
