Anita B. Hall-Goodrich, age 83 of The Villas of Belleview in Belleview, Florida went to be with Our Lord on March 24th, 2025.
Anita was born in Lancaster PA on September 5 th ,1941 to John Glenn Brown and Fay Laura Noll. She is survived by her beloved spouse Jerome (Jerry) Goodrich, her daughter Tina Litaker (Frank), her son George Hall Jr. (Ronnie) and her son Ronnie Hall. She has five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her late husband George.
She completed her CNA certification and was employed by John Knox Village in Orange City, Florida while living in Deltona. She then retired and moved to Belleview. She was an active member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Belleview for over fifteen years. She was Director of the Alter Guild for a while and then became Codirector. She was very involved with the annual church rummage sale in advertising and setting up the merchandise. She will be truly missed for all of her contributions to the missions of the church.
Anita was always dressed to impress! She had a flair with style and coordination of designer-like outfits. She was always ready to help a neighbor or church member in need of a hot meal or help with anything around the house.
She was very family oriented, especially when cooking was involved. No one ever went hungry in her house. She was especially tidy, and even when she was ill towards the end, still changed the sheets on the bed and did laundry every Monday. She was very attentive with taking care of her husband Jerry, waited on him hand and foot. She was a loving mother and friend and will surely be missed and never forgotten!
Friends and family are invited to attend her memorial service scheduled for Saturday, April 12 th at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Episcopal Church of Belleview. The Reverend Lisa Wimmer will be officiating. A reception will follow hosted by Daughters of the King.
