Anita Lindley Pettola, 63, originally from Paragould, Arkansas, went home to the Lord on Sunday, May 4, 2025, after a battle with cancer. Anita was born in Memphis, Tennessee on June 15, 1961, to Boyce and Sybil Lindley. She was a member of Providence Church in Ormond Beach, and a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend.

Anita married the love of her life, Stephen Pettola, on January 25, 1991. She graduated from Paragould High School and Arkansas State University with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism. She loved Disney, Southern Gospel Music, Murder Mystery shows, the Florida Gators, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Anita was preceded in death by her father, Boyce Lindley. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Pettola; mother, Sybil Lindley; son, Alex (Staci) Pettola; sister, Sherry (Curtis) Hill, niece, Jamie (Wayne) Hughes; nephew, Jarrod (Carmen) Hill; and several great-nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Providence Church on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Anita to Providence Church.
