Ann E. Carter, 82, died peacefully in her home in Venice, Florida on October 21, 2025. She was born on March 15,1943 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William and Dorothy Lyman, of Elmhurst, PA.

Ann was a graduate of Marywood High School. For 25 years, she lived in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, raising her daughters. She was a beloved, second mom to many of her daughters' friends, known affectionately as "Mrs. C".  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were some of her greatest joys in life.

Ann is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen Stansfield and husband, Robert, and Michelle Coburn and husband, Ian; two granddaughters, Kimberly Stansfield, and Christine Royal and husband, Raymond; two great grandsons, Raymond Jr. and Riley Royal; and one brother, William Lyman and wife Florence. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerard and Timothy, and one sister, Ellen Knoll.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
