Ann, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 24, 2026, at the age of 78. Ann was born on November 7, 1947, in Leesburg, Florida. She was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Lee Peavy Sr. and Nellie Mae Peavy. Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Harvey and spouse Gene Harvey, sister Lucille Kelly and spouse Malone Kelly, and brother Robert L. Peavy, Jr. (Bobby) and spouse Linda Peavy, as well as her beloved husband, Riley Lee Yarbrough.

Ann's legacy lives on through her daughters, Kimmie Ann Avery and Dana Lee Fields, and Dana's husband, Vaughn Fields. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Troy Avery and fiancée Brooklyn Owens, Danny Ruby II, Beau Fields and spouse Christian McElrath, Devin Avery and spouse Allison Avery. Her great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Avery, Zoe Avery, Hunter Riley McElrath Fields, Chase McElrath Fields, Brielle Avery, Stella Ruby, and Orion Ruby who brought her immense joy and pride.

Ann touched the lives of many with her warmth, generosity, and unshakeable faith. She graduated from Paxton High School in Jacksonville, Florida, in May 1965 and began her career at Diversified Electronics. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish Ann's Residential Cleaning Services, a testament to her hard work and determination, which she ran for over two decades. Later, she dedicated eight years of compassionate service at Cornerstone Hospice House, where her kindness and empathy touched many lives.

An active member of the Oxford Assembly of God, Ann shared her love for the Lord with everyone she met. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she was known for her willingness to share it with total strangers. In her youth, Ann's adventurous spirit led her to the back roads of Duval County, where she embraced the thrill of late-night drag racing. She also found joy in dancing with the Melon Patch Square Dancers Club and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley.

Ann's love for life extended to her hobbies, where she spent countless hours nurturing her flower garden and filling her home with music and dance. Her vibrant personality and unwavering faith made her a beloved figure in her community and family.

A service to celebrate Ann's remarkable life will be held on October 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Oxford Assembly of God, located at 12114 US Highway 301 N, Oxford, FL 34484.

As her family fondly remembers, "Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." Ann's life was indeed filled with such moments, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing her.
