Anna Marie Costello, 89, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026. Born on April 21, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas, Anna lived a life centered on love, family, and quiet strength.

Anna will be remembered for her kindness, patience, and warm sense of humor. She had a gentle way about her that made people feel at ease, and her greatest joy was always her family. Time spent together, whether around the table, in conversation, or simply in each other’s presence, meant everything to her.

A classically trained pianist, Anna had a deep appreciation for music and the arts. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, including playing the piano, tending to her garden, baking desserts, sewing as a skilled seamstress, and enjoying her favorite treat, chocolate.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Costello, with whom she shared 54 devoted years of marriage after their wedding on June 30, 1956.

Anna is survived by her loving children, Paula Peters of The Villages, Florida, Alice Rivera of The Villages, Florida, and Thomas Costello of Winter Park, Florida. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Sara Costello and Patrick Costello of Winter Park, Florida. She is further survived by her son-in-law, Stephen Peters, and daughter-in-law, Kathleen Costello.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood, Florida.

Anna’s legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family will live on in all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
