Obituary

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Anne Vannest Roehlig, 86, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on February 17, 2024, in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Anne was born June 29, 1937, in Ravenswood, WV to the late Alice Geraldine (Snyder) Frances and the late Curtis Clayton Vannest. Anne was also preceded in death by her brother, Ernest (Ernie) Vannest (Sue) and two step grandsons, Christopher Lawson, and Nicholas Lawson.

Anne is survived by her two sons, Thomas F Roehlig (Paula) of Oviedo, Florida, and David C. Roehlig (Debra) of Morganton, Georgia. Three special grandchildren, Michael Roehlig (Schanelle), Steve Roehlig (Leah) and Krista Rose White (Peyton) and five beloved great grandchildren Makayla, Carsten, Ryan, Jacob, and Caleb. One special niece, Marla Crowthers (Greg) and nephew, Jeff Vannest (Mary Anne).

Anne retired as a Clinique Specialist, you could often see her in Macy's in her white lab coat helping clients, she always had a smile and humming a tune. Anne took joy and pride in her beautiful Florida yard. She had a special touch with her plants and had a special love for her animals. She is missed and loved by all.

Anne's final resting place is at Mansion Memorial in Ellenton, Florida. No funeral service is planned.
