Obituary

Annetta Esther Oberst, 55, of St. Cloud, FL, passed away on 03/03/2023 in Orlando. Services entrusted to BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society, 1654 N. Semoran Blvd. (407) 851-1983. A celebration of life service officiated by Tee Rogers of Humanist Celebrant Orlando, was held at Ralph V. Chisholm Regional Park on Saturday, April 1, 2023. This was a favorite park for Annetta and Ashton to visit, thank you to those that attended the service.

Annetta was born on January 3, 1968 in Tecumseh, Michigan, but grew up in Ontario, Canada. She went to high school at Thistletown Collegiate Institute, Rexdale, Ontario, and graduated in 1986. She was a confirmed Lutheran and attended a Christian church where she lived in St. Cloud, Florida.

Annetta was self-employed, provided animal care with her business, Anita Paw Pal Pet Sitting. She had a passion for pets, liked the outdoors and nature in general, loved a mix of music genres, was a classic car enthusiast, and enjoyed sharing her interests with her son Ashton.

Annetta is survived by her brother, Russell Oberst, son, Ashton Oberst, Ashton's father, Steve Acquaviva, and grandmother, Greer Acquaviva. Annetta's aunt, Linda and uncle, Rev. David Oberst, aunt, Nancy Oberst, and cousins, Tim, Teresa, Dan, Mike, Kim, and Michelle. Steve's sister Toni, brother Pete, aunt, Hope and uncle, Steve, and cousins, Will, Lynn, and Mark. Annetta is preceded in death by her parents, Renate and Brian Oberst, grandparents, Loraine and Russell Oberst, godmother, Anita Hankenhof, and uncle, Melvin Oberst.

Annetta will be missed. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in her name to your local no kill animal shelter, as this was a cause close to her heart.
