Anthony James "Tony" Benjamin, 57, of Inverness, Florida, passed away on May 4, 2024. He was born on March 14, 1967, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Tony was a caring individual who was well-loved by his family and colleagues. He had a passion for the outdoors, particularly fishing, and enjoyed playing youth baseball and football in his younger years.

In his career, Tony followed his passion for working with boats, trucks and cars. He spent several years at Floral City Airboats in Floral City, Florida, before moving on to Crockett's Towing / Guardian Fleet Services in Land O' Lakes, Florida, where he worked as a truck mechanic. He concluded his career at Gulf Coast Wreckers of Brooksville, Florida, as a mechanic and tow truck driver.

Tony is survived by his mother, Sarah R. Baldwin, and sister, Connie D. Flanagan. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl J. Benjamin.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Tony's life will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Home, 11250 SW 93rd Court Rd Suite #300, Ocala, Florida 34481, on Saturday, May 11, at 12 noon.
