Anthony Dominic
Marco, Jr.
February 10, 1947 – April 21, 2026
Anthony Dominic Marco, Jr., 79, passed away on April 21, 2026. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tony later made his home in Long Beach, California, before relocating to The Villages, Florida with his partner of 18 years, Elizabeth Burrows.
Tony was a free spirit who filled every room with warmth, laughter, and a goofy sense of humor that showed up whether the moment called for it or not. He shared his heart freely, and had a gift for making everyone around him feel welcome.
He was a reliable and committed partner to Elizabeth Burrows, a proud and encouraging father to his daughters, and as Papa to his granddaughters Ava and Addison, he was at his very best: silly, present, and completely smitten, always ready with a goofy face for the camera.
Music was a lifelong passion. Tony played, collected guitars, and shared the joy of music freely, believing it was never meant to be kept to yourself. He was equally generous with his time, often fixing things for the people he loved and arriving fashionably late in what the family affectionately referred to as "Marco Time."
Tony is survived by his partner of 18 years, Elizabeth Burrows; his daughters, Mandy Richardson and Melanie Meyer; his granddaughters, Ava and Addison Richardson; and his siblings, Francis Marco, James Marco, Michael Marco, William Marco, Patricia Schmitt, and Ann Marie Marco.
A life well-lived and deeply felt, Tony Marco will be remembered for the laughter he brought, the love he gave freely, and the family and friends who always knew exactly where they stood with him.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 9:30am, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation,3990 E. Sr 44, Wildwood, FL. A burial will follow at 1:00pm at the Florida National Cemetery.
