Anthony Glyn Richards, 87, of Fort Myers, FL, passed into life with Christ on January 10, 2025. He was born on October 15, 1937, in Pittsfield, MA, to parents Raymond and Marjorie (O'Brien) Richards. He served his community and country in both the U.S. Navy as a Seabee as well as a Police Officer with the East Long Meadow PD before retiring after 22 years. Upon his retirement he continued to tinker in different things, being self-employed at that point.

Anthony was a member of the Shriners, Jesters, and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He was full of life and energy; he was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend and neighbor. He enjoyed staying active and travelling, living in a multitude of places before falling in love with Florida and deciding to stay. Any occasion was a good one to gather with friends and family, creating new memories.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Roberta Richards; Daughter, Kim (Jack) Talmadge; Son, Michael Richards; 3 Grandchildren, Ian, Bailey, and Kayla and 1 Great Granddaughter, Mila as well as many other loving friends and family members. He was proceeded in death by his Parents and siblings.
