Antoinette Van den Heuvel, 82, of New Smyrna Beach passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010.    Affectionately known as "Teddy", she was born June 12, 1928 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.  Teddy married the love of her life, Reinier, on November 24, 1949.  Together they came to the United States in 1979 and settled in Maine before moving to New Smyrna Beach in 1984.  Teddy was a member of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, in the local Sand Dollar Chapter.  Her stunning lifetime work of needlecraft, quilts and beading will be handed down for generations.  Her personality was vibrant, her love of family unconditional, and her friendships everlasting.  She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Reinier; devoted son, Hans and his wife Susan of Indianapolis, and cherished granddaughter, Gabriella Van den Heuvel of Seattle 11:00 am to 12 Noon at Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 on December 1, 2010 (map/driving directions)
