Antonia Leonarda
Foronda-Macedo
Oct 31, 1928 — Jul 14, 2026
Antonia, age 97, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was known by many as Antuca, a name she treasured.
Antonia was born on October 31, 1928, in Ancach, Peru. Her life was marked by love, faith, and devotion to those around her. A proud native of Peru, she carried the values of family, faith, and generosity throughout her life. Antonia dedicated her life to her family as a stay-at-home mother. She filled her home with warm, laughter, faith, and unconditional love.
A devoted Catholic, Antonia's relationship with God guided her throughout her life. She found comfort and strength in prayer and shared her faith with others through acts of kindness and serving others. She taught her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren the values of compassion, generosity, and perseverance, leaving them with a legacy that will continue for many generations to come.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Manuel A. Baquedano Elorreaga, siblings, parents, great grandchildren; Zander and Zoey.
Above all else, Antonia cherished her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children; Rosa Maria Baquedano, Carlos Baquedano (Jesus), and Rosario Rossi (Joe), 5 grandchildren; Silvana Watson (Jerry), Manuel Baquedano (Haley), Katrina Rossi (Dennis), Patricia Baquedano, and Nelson Clavijo (Claudia), 11 great grandchildren; Manny Jr, Adrian, Alexia, Sophia, Anthony, Hudson, Mila, Valentina, Maverick, Emilia, and Antonella; as well as many extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace in knowing that Antonia’s love remains woven into the lives she helped shape and knowing she has been welcomed into God’s eternal embrace. She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace
