Arlene A. Altmann passed away on Friday February 12, 2021 in her North Fort Myers, FL home. She was the youngest of three daughters born to the late Frank C. and Nora A. (Barrett) McNulty on August 20, 1935 in Scranton, PA. She moved to Easton, PA as a child, graduating from Easton Catholic High School in 1954. It was there that she met her future husband, Bernard C. Altmann, and they married on September 11, 1954. They enjoyed 66 years of marriage, while their family grew to include four children.

Later, she worked with him at Easton Optical Company, the family owned business. She and Bernie traveled nationally and internationally for both business and pleasure. Arlene took up golfing, and she and Bernie enjoyed many fun times with friends while members at Northampton Country Club in Easton, PA and Gateway Country Club in Fort Myers, FL. They moved permanently to Fort Myers in 2002.

Arlene loved her family and her 100% Irish heritage. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as playing dominoes, watching old movies, shopping, entertaining and traveling.

Arlene is survived by her loving husband, Bernard Altmann, her four children: Jeanette Gibbs, Reading PA; Richard Altmann, Cape Coral, FL; Bernard Altmann II, Easton, PA; Doreen McNulty, North Fort Myers, FL; and their spouses: Stephen Gibbs, Bonnie Altmann and Kathy Altmann. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Patrick Altmann, Kimberly Altmann, Caitlin (Gibbs) Bambrick, Lauren (Gibbs) Brueck, and Tyler Altmann, and their spouses: Laura Altmann, Tim Bambrick and Aaron Brueck. She has 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters: Dorothy Repscher and Joan Moore.

Mass will be held on February 26, 2021 at St John XXIII Catholic Church, 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers, FL 33912 at 11AM. Viewers may call at 10:30AM at the church. Masks and social distancing are required. Interment of her ashes will be at St John Memorial Garden.
