Arnell "Nell" Lacharite (February 17, 1949 – February 1, 2022) – Ocala, Florida – On February 1, 2022, Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Nell was born in Port Jervis, NY in 1949 and graduated from High Point High School in Sussex, NJ in 1967. Shortly thereafter, she married the love of her life, gained a beautiful stepdaughter, and had three wonderful children of her own. She loved animals and retired from the Citrus County Animal Shelter. She will be remembered for her kind heart and enduring love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jean Paul Lacharite of Ocala, FL; sisters Sally Conklin of Port Jervis, NY and Shelley Leveque of Campbell Hall, NY; brother Donald Outer of Milford, PA; step-daughter Paula Lacharite (Jimmy McElroy) of Vancleave, MS; daughter Michelle Sheppard (Jamie) of Ocala, FL; daughter Suzy Strayhorn (Steven) of Wright City, OK; and son Scott Lacharite (Bonnie) of Beverly Hills, FL.

Her legacy will live on through her grandchildren Michael Lacharite (Heidi); Brittney Dye (Mitchell); Tyler Owens (Bree); Kyle Owens (Payton); Benjamin Heymann (Rachel); Nicholas Owens (Chesney), Sarah Heymann (Conner), Gia McElroy; Hannah Heymann, Daisy Lacharite and Lilly Lacharite. Her great grandchildren are Logan, Brayden, Emery, Avery, Lila, Preston, Lawson, Briana, Zakayla, Trinity and Serenity.
