Arthur J. Boyer, 89, of Ocala, FL went to be with the Lord July 7, 2016 at his home in Ocala.  He was born February 1, 1927 in Johnstown, PA the son of William Boyer and Lois (Cooper) Boyer.  He served in the U S Navy during World War II.  He worked as a Building Contractor in the construction industry.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law, Allan and Jo Ann Boyer. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Fern E. Boyer.  Also survived by one son:  William Boyer and his wife, Darlene, of Ocala, FL; one daughter, Sandra Olson and family of FL;  grandsons Brian Boyer and Bradley Boyer and their families. He enjoyed traveling and surf fishing in Florida.  Services will be held at Oakland United Methodist Church, 1504 Bedford St, Johnstown, PA on July 20 at 11:00.
