Arthur Kenneth "Ken" Patterson Jr., 93, of New Smyrna Beach, entered into eternal rest on August 5, 2026 peacefully at home with his loving family at his side. 

He was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on January 18, 1933, the son of Arthur K and Martha Downs Patterson. He served in the U.S. navy, graduated from Dartmouth, and earned his MBA at the University of Michigan. He worked for 30+ years in finance for several different companies in the U.S. and Canada. He was very proud of his Irish heritage, he obtained citizenship in Ireland and visited the family homestead. 

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; his three children, Lisa (Steve) Laclede, Mary (Jim) Garrelts. David (Michelle) Patterson; 7 grandchildren, Robin Laclede, James Laclede, Cameron Garrelts, Cassandra Garrelts, Christopher Garrelts, Wren Sempest, and Emma Patterson; his sister, Martha Kline; and several nieces and nephews. 

He is predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Jane Carpenter Patterson; his parents, Arthur and Martha Patterson; and his brother, Hugh Patterson.  

Interment at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
