Obituary

Arthur Lee Vaulk, 85, formerly from Pensacola, Florida, passed peacefully into heaven at his daughter's home in Ormond Beach, Florida, on August 21, 2021, with his family by his side. Lee was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 24, 1936, to Arthur and Katherine Vaulk. He graduated from The Catholic High School of Pensacola and later received a bachelor's degree from the Florida Atlantic University. He was an incredibly, loving father and enjoyed going to reunions with his friends he met while serving for six years in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed volunteering at the divisions of elections in Opa Locka and the United States census for many years. He received several commendations from the mayor and city of Opa Locka for being an "unselfishly giving" outstanding citizen. He was an accountant who worked many decades completing income taxes in south Florida.

Lee was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Vaulk, mother, Katherine L. (Boutwell) Vaulk and sister, Susanna Vaulk Smith. He is survived by his son, Evan Vaulk, and grandchildren Andrew, Jennifer and Casey, his daughter and her husband, Lucia and Ronald Knowles, and grandchildren Aaron, Benjamin, and Elizabeth, his daughter and her husband, Katherine and Michael Munn, and grandchildren Thomas and Katrina, and his son and his wife, Arthur II and Cristina Vaulk, and grandchildren Cristian and Gabriel, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home (1185 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, Fl. 32174) on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, for family from 10:00 am- 10:30 am and from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm for family/friends.
