Asuncion ("Suncha") Gonzalez Rodriguez, 88, passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2018 surrounded by love.  Suncha was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Felix Rodriguez (2005).  Suncha was a remarkably kind woman, a devoted homemaker and a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Suncha will be remembered lovingly by her three daughters:  Margaret Rodriguez Tyson, Edna Miller and Ileen Cordero. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren: Jasmine Martinez, Crystal Maltby, Andy Rodriguez, Olivia DelValle, EJ Cordero and Jared Miller; 3 step-grandchildren:  Andre, Juan and Isaiah Tyson; along with 4 great grandchildren:  Alexander and Mia Rodriguez, Elijah Maltby and Malachi Felix DelValle.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring staff of Vitas Hospice, especially MariCarmen and Dayanara, for walking this journey with them.

Suncha will be interred next to her husband in San German, Puerto Rico.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Baldwin Brothers Funeral home in Orlando, Florida.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation for Alzheimer's research at alz.org.
