Aubrey Gerald “Jerry” Chancellor, 74, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026.

Jerry was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending quiet days fly fishing, relaxing with a cold beer in hand, and watching classic westerns. Whether casting a line into the water or settling in for an old cowboy movie, he appreciated the moments that brought peace and contentment. He will be remembered for his easygoing spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the time he shared with those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joann Chancellor.

Jerry leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his son, Jerry Chancellor and his wife Bonny Chancellor; his daughter, Robin; and his treasured grandchildren, Hailey and Seth, and Seth’s wife, Amy. He was a devoted father and proud grandfather whose love for his family remained constant throughout his life.

Though he will be deeply missed, Jerry’s memory will live on through the stories shared by family and friends, the lessons he passed down, and the love he gave so freely.

The family finds comfort in knowing that Jerry has been reunited with Joann, and that his legacy will continue through those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date. The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support extended during this difficult time.
