One of the brightest lights in The Villages has been extinguished. AUBREY GARSON slipped away in the early hours of December 29 ^th at The Club Rehab Centre, after a stroke at his home two weeks earlier. Few men have touched the hearts of so many. Aubrey was a true gentleman; he was passionate about words and compassionate towards people. How many of us have his poems and cards stashed away to bring a smile when needed? His affection and fondness for Temple Shalom; The Villages Badminton Club; and The Piano Club, which he founded; is matched only by the friends he made who adored him, too numerous to mention. He is grievously mourned by us – his daughter Linda, son Ray and his wife Sue, grandchildren Jenna, Guy, and Sam; our late sister Dodie's children, Adam and Lauren; and his first great granddaughter, Poppy Joy.
