Aubrey Heading Wright Jr.

August 21, 1946 – June 4, 2024

New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Aubrey Wright went home to be with the Lord peacefully while surrounded by family at home at the age of 77.  His parents Aubrey and Regina Wright and sister Susan Wilson have predeceased him.

Aubrey was born in New York, New York and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he grew up and went to East Mecklenberg High School where he graduated in 1964.

In 1966 he moved to South Florida.  In 1968 he joined the Navy and was stationed on the USS John F. Kennedy CV-67 (Plank Owner) rank AZ2.  Once he returned in 1970 from the Navy he attended Florida International University where he graduated in 1973 with his undergraduate degree in finance.  He also received his graduate degree in from the school of banking in 1973.

Aubrey loved his family dearly and has left behind his beloved Wife Charlene Wright of 51 years.  His daughter Heather Rocci and her husband Steve Rocci and his two grandchildren who are the light of his life granddaughter Jordan Neisler and Grandson Aubrey Neisler.

A visitation will be held before the service on June 28th, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Baldwin Brothers at 1 N Causeway, Smyrna Beach, 32169.  The Service will be at 2:30 and following the service everyone is invited to join us back at our home for a reception.
