Augustus H Wadlow, 94, died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He worked as a school custodian until retirement. Augustus had several passions in life. He designed tools and loved to help his friends fix things. He also enjoyed watching boats pass by on the river. But his real passion was baking Apple Pies for friends. Augustus was a founding member of The Church of St Andrew the Apostle Episcopal Church in Rocky Hill, CT. He leaves to cherish his memory a niece Linda Kinsey of Maine, a nephew Tom Wadlow of CT and his companion of 12 years Heather Anne Page.
