Aura Olga Cure, 75 passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Putumayo, Colombia in 1948, she immigrated to the United States in 1971 to Rhode Island. Known for her famous cooking and being a wonderful mother, Aura touch the lives of many different people of all walks of life. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved to sew and cook for her family. Aura worked at Hasbro in Rhode Island for a many years and retired at the age of 55 to be with her family and enjoy life. She loved to travel and help others. She is survived by her loving husband, Abraham  Cure, daughter, Rosario Cure-Persad, sons, Martin Cure and Abraham Jr. Cure, her granddaughters, Olivia Persad, Amelia Cure and Diana Cure. She is survived by many family members in Colombia, including her sisters Theresa Otaya, Eloise Otaya and brothers, Medardo Otaya, Salvador Otaya, Ignacio Otaya.

Aura will always be remembered as a devoted Catholic who was very passionate about her faith and will be missed dearly.
