Ausma Apsitis Kircher Hoseney , 75, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on July 26, 2025.

Ausma was born on February 19, 1950, in Germany and later settled in the United States with her family. She was a graduate of Pioneer High School and spent many years working at College Shoe Repair, where she became a beloved part of the Brown family who owned the business. The Browns played an important role in Ausma's life, even sponsoring her family's journey to America—something she was always deeply grateful for.

On April 7, 1989, Ausma married Mark Lee Hoseney. She found joy in spending time with family and friends, attending social gatherings, gardening, and reading.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Karlis and Valentina Apsitis; her brothers Albert and Voldie Apsitis; and her sister Ilze Apsitis.

Ausma is survived by her children: son Alan Kircher and his wife Srey, and daughter Rhonda Hoseney. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jacob and Jasmine Kircher. She is also survived by her brother Edgar Apsitis, and sisters Helen Apsitis-Hart and Rita Apsitis-Knickerbocker.
