Austin Daniel Schowe, 22, of Ocala, FL passed away January 11, 2018.  He was born and resided in Ocala.  Austin's many passions were his guitar, music, cooking and fishing.  He had the ability to pick up any instrument and master it.  Children were drawn to him and he truly enjoyed spending time with them.  He had the ability to "debate" like no other.  Austin was in the process of enlisting in the US Navy in order to pursue his dreams.  He is survived by his Mother, Darlene Gilhousen and her Husband Chuck of Ocala; Father Jeff Schowe and his Wife Gina of Lenoir, NC; he also had a host of step-brothers, step-sisters, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.  He also leaves behind many friends including lifelong "brothers" Johnny Belton, Patrick Brown and Chris Koontz.  Visitation will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations (11250 SW 93rd Ct. Rd., Ocala 236-7813) on Friday (Jan. 19th) from 6-8 PM.  The family will also have a Celebration of Austin's Life at his residence (8299 SW 100th Ln. Rd. Ocala) on Saturday (Jan. 20th) beginning at 4PM.  All are welcome.
