Barbara A Allen was born August 26, 1946 in New Smyrna Beach and passed peacefully at her daughter's home April 23, 2024, on Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of Hansford "Hank" Benton and Thelma Benton.

She was predeceased by her grandson Joshua Watson and son Brian Allen. She was a dedicated nurse for over 30 years with a generous and loving heart. She is survived by her daughter Lori (Mike) Welch and Granddaughters: Michelle Hamp and Ashley Allen and grandson Caleb. Also survived by sisters Linda (Mike) McDonald, Trish Allen and Jean (Buddy) Horn. Brothers Steve (Kathy) Benton and "Lucky" Benton (deceased.) Multiple great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was lovingly cared for through Hospice.  A special thank you to nieces and care takers Trish Benton and Michelle Bowman Ferris along with her granddaughter Michelle Hamp. Celebration of life to be determined at a later date.
