Barbara Rose Bauer, age 93, past away on July 5, 2022, at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, FL.

Barbara is survived by her three nieces, Carolyn Gibbs of Hollywood, SC; Marilyn Bauer of The Villages, FL; Georgia Lynn Jewell of Sleepy Hollow, NY; and two great nephews and a great niece.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Rose Bauer and her brothers, Chester R. Bauer of Tustin, CA and George W. Bauer of Hilton Head, SC.

Barbara was born on September 7, 1928, in New York.  She graduated from Washington Irving High School in Tarrytown, NY, and Chapman University in Orange, CA in 1970.

She was an avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast and enjoyed traveling in her younger years.

Her final resting place will be in the family plot at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, New York.
