Barbara Cummings, age 80, of Ocala, Florida passed away suddenly on February 9, 2024, at Cates Hospice House. Barbara was born on April 26, 1943, to her parents Emerson and Amy Smith in Ocala, Florida. She enjoyed traveling, going to church, spending time with family and friends, doing word searches and loved her pets. Barbara is survived by three grandchildren Chad Waldron, Jamie Waldron, and James Waldron; four great-grandchildren; Blaine Waldron, Lindsey McKinney, Dylan McKinney, and Alexandria Newvine, two sisters Becklet Baines and Charlotte Dias; three brothers Emory Smith (Phyllis), Ricky Smith (Mary), and Michael Smith (Jeanette); one sister-in-law Diane Smith, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ken Cummings, of Kentucky; her son Timothy Alan Moody, of Ocala, Florida; her daughter Pamela Watson, of Ocala, Florida; brothers Charles Smith of Anthony, Florida, Doyle Smith of Ocala, Florida, Gerald Smith of Ocala, Florida, and Virgil Smith of Anthony, Florida. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home located at 954 East Silver Springs Blvd, Unit 200 in Ocala, Florida 34470. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial. The family would like to thank everyone for your support and prayers during this difficult time.
