Born on June 11, 1957, to Joseph and Elizabeth Lenhardt in the city of Philadelphia Pennsylvania she was the second of five children her childhood year she attended Catholic school Saint Albert the great and a year at Archbishop Ryan the Lenhardt Family moved to Ocean City NJ in 1973 where she graduated Ocean City high school in 1975, she then married George Samuel Dungan, October 21, 1978; they had two beautiful daughters Kelly and Kristin and Dungan.

Sadly, Kristen passed away in 1998 in a car accident after Kristin's, passing Barbara and her daughter, Kelly and grandson Tarelle (TJ ) move to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where the sunshine brought better days. They always traveled back-and-forth to New Jersey for family and friends. The last four years of Barbara's life we're in Fort Myers, Florida.

Barbara was a woman of love; she had tons of friends, super social, and most of all the roots of her family. Her grandsons were her everything TJ spent 19 years by her side while Tristin 5. TJ was her rock. Kelly often said: "mom get your son please or oh that's Barb's baby". He's my brother joking constantly.

She will truly be missed the best mother, wife, and grandmother and friend anyone could ever ask for we were blessed to have such a beautiful woman in our lives. Sadly, Barbara was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and seven years later got an infection and went septic from an infection that hit her like a brick wall. It took absolutely everything out of her.

Barbara was a child of God. She passed peacefully in the arms of her family on August 22, 2023 when she was called into our great Lord's eternal kingdom.
