Barbara M. Gill Tripp (Westerfeld), passed peacefully on July 26, 2026, in Titusville, Florida, at the age of 92. She was born on June 12, 1934, in Ashland, Ohio to Edward and Dorothy Westerfeld.

Barbara was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her throughout her life. A faithful member of Faith Reform Baptist Church in Titusville, she was known for her kind heart, genuine acceptance of others and the best crafts and Christmas cookies made with love. Her greatest joy was her family, including her sister, Janet Hubler; daughter, Terri Prowdley; son, Steve Bosmeny; their spouses; her eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Jasper.

She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, Tony Gill, at Brevard Memorial Park during an intimate family graveside service. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
